The Boston Municipal Court - West Roxbury Division is a trial court with jurisdiction over crimes in Roslindale not requiring a state prison sentence, felonies with a maximum punishment of 5 years imprisonment, as well as violations of municipal ordinances and by-laws. Suffolk Superior Court
The Suffolk County Superior Court hears civil claims involving $50,000 and criminal matters brought in from Roslindale. Eastern Housing Court
The Eastern Housing Court hears eviction cases, consumer protection cases, and other matters concerning the safety and welfare of residences in Roslindale. The Court also adjudicates over criminal matters bordering on the enforcement of state and local building ordinances, sanitary codes, and fire prevention codes.
